Atlas Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine is a locally owned private practice devoted to providing personal and individual care by a licensed professional. We specialize in orthopedic and sports rehabilitation including treatment for muscle strains, ligament sprains, nerve compression or impingement, post-operative conditions, adhesive capsulitis, and post-fracture conditions.
Atlas also offers specialty programs for the women’s health population. These services include treatment for diagnosis such as incontinence, pelvic pain syndromes, fibromyalgia, osteoporosis prevention and treatment, high risk pregnancy, and post-operative pelvic and abdominal scarring.
“Before the crash, I was on the go with a wide circle of friends,” shares Sandra Huey, a financial analyst and mother of three grown sons.
“I just came down wrong,” remembers 15-year-old athlete Meaghan Lilienthal. “I was doing this little lay-up shot.”
Another physician referred Todd Gillean to Atlas Physical Therapy after the 17-year-old quarterback of the Bartram Trail High School football team, the Bears, sprained the medial collateral ligament in his knee during the first game of the 2000 season.
“Some people develop bone spurs,” observes Pat Ayers. “I was one of them.”
