Dr. Sophie Bargeron
PT, DPT, CSCS, TPI
Sophie is a licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association, and Certified Golf Fitness and Medical Specialist through the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI). Sophie specializes in golf performance and rehabilitation. Using a system that integrates the TPI screens, movement analysis, and swing analysis, she is able to identify key areas for improvement. Sophie applies evidence-based principles from sports science and rehabilitation literature to create an in-depth plan to rehabilitate injuries, enhance athletic ability, and prevent future impairments. She has worked with athletes of all levels including high-school, NCAA, and professional.
Sophie moved from London, England to play collegiate golf at Armstrong State University in Savannah, GA, where she graduated with her B.S in Exercise Science. She received her Doctorate of Physical therapy from Georgia Southern University where she conducted research in return-to-sport testing for shoulder injuries and worked with USARIEM to develop a tactical athlete program to help prevent injuries in the military population. Sophie is passionate about sports science, training, as well as helping the general population stay active and achieve their goals.
